Family. Tradition. Passion.

For years I’ve worked with other Djs and helped create their reputations.  Today, with the help of my amazing family and good friends, our loved ones can create something truly memorable.

James “Dj Jaimito”

Dj / MC

I started back in 1995, mixing back yard parties with my father in law.  Since, I’ve played in clubs, all kinds of festivals, the rodeo,  fiesta event and private parties.  You may also have heard me on KXTN 107.5, La Kalle 95.1 or on the streets with 98.5 the Beat.

Mom was always my biggest inspiration in music.  She introduced me to the Tejano world and is the reason I love to dance!  I’ve been everything from a commercial painter to recently a Linux Engineer.  A verifiable Renaissance man.

My favorite groups/artist: Billy Vera, Tower of Power, Chuck Mangione, Wilson Pickett, EWF, Malo, Juanes, Mana, Santana, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Styx, Chicago, Marc Anthony, Joe Posada, Latin Breed, Sunny Ozuna, NWA, Biggie… too many to count!

Family. Tradition. Passion.

My Wife.  She has been helping me for the last 13 years, now she manages our photobooth.  Her creativity and love for making memories truly shines when she brings her booth to your events.

Dear Family Friend.  We met Irene a few ago while our boys were in cub scouts. Her creativity and attention to detail makes for a smooth evening. She always makes sure that each memory is captured and colorful.

Joshua & Ever

“Cable Boy” & “La Ley”

My  Son & Baby Girl.  You probably won’t see much of these two, but they may make an appearance.  Joshua spends most of his time gaming and in the world of Minecraft.  She watches Frozen ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!

Lighting / Video

My Brother.  My greatest supporter and encouragement to start on my own.  By day, he supports the flow of commerce by driving for HEB.  At night, he can tear up the dance floor with a mean cumbia beat.  Avid fisherman and sportsman.

Lighting / Video

Dear Family Friend.  Met this guy a few years back, while our kids were in cub scouts.  When the light turn down and the music turns up, you can catch this guy air playing the accordion, doing some karaoke and he is definitely the life of the party.

“The Muscle”

My Niece.  One tough cookie that loves to dance.  She is still in high school so she can’t make every event but she enjoys the parties that want a lot of cumbias, reggaeton, nortenas, corridos, bachata, R&B and rap.

What our clients think….

“DJ Jaimito was wonderful, we had such a wonderful time. The dance floor was always full with people dancing and the genre of music suited everyone. My family keeps messaging us to tell us how much they enjoyed the music.  He truly goes all out for you, he made my niece’s day truly special and memorable. We can’t thank him enough.”
